Labrador Retriever - Cowboy - Large - Adult - Male - Dog
Cowboy is a sweet, beautiful boy that needs a home of his own to realize his full potential. He is very in tune to his handler and wiling to learn - will do very well with his own person!! Was found in a box, with 8 siblings, at about 2 weeks of age so we have no idea what breed(s) he actually is, but suspect a good amount of lab. He was adopted but was returned because of a naughty child that made it hard for him to be as good as he really is. But, he did very well with the younger child in the family so we do not believe he warrants a "no kids" label. 7-23-13 UPDATE: Cowboy is now in another foster home where he is learning the joys of playing fetch & frisbee and spending active time with other dogs. He is a little insecure with new dogs and new situations but adjusts well. He likes to be active and would might even enjoy frisbee or agility with the right training, but would also be a great running and/or hiking partner!! He really needs his own person and/or family to help him become the wonderful dog we all know he will one day be!!!
