10/1/13 UPDATE Amelia and Laney are still with us and really need to find their own home and person. They both seem to be the type that will hide from everybody except their chosen person but they really want to be close to that person! They are curious about our dogs and have eventually accepted every new foster kitty they were introduced to but change is noticeably stressful for them so a stable, quiet home would be best! They are indoor only cats but would probably make very good house-mousers because they respond VERY quick to movements like tossed toy mice, etc. I would not want to be a mouse in their midst! Laney is a timid little girl and definitely takes a while to warm up to someone new. But, I am certain, once she has her own person and is secure in her own home, she is going to bond tightly! If you have the patience and understanding for this special little girl, she will almost certainly be worth the wait!! She looks like your typical tabby cat but has a nice, slick, short coat similar to the siamese/oriental type cats. She's kind of in the long, thin, gangly teenage phase but is going to be a beautiful girl when she matures!
